Abstract
The IBM approach to odd-odd nuclei is referred to as IBFFM/OTQM. Diagonalizing the Hamiltonian matrix in the boson-quasiproton-quasineutron basis the authors have performed the calculation of energy spectra and electromagnetic properties of odd-odd Au isotopes. As an illustration the authors present the calculated negative-parity spectrum of /sup 198/Au. (6 References).
